Mantra Music | Divine Child - Giita Rani

"Gate gate para gate para sum gate bodhi swaha is a Buddhist mantra that is found at the end of the Heart Sutra, often cited as the best-known Buddhist scripture and included in the Prajnaparamita (“Perfection of Wisdom”) section of the Mahayana Buddhist canon. It is also known as the Heart-Calming Mantra.

The scores of direct translations of the mantra vary, but the meaning is essentially the same. Two common translations include:"

- Gone beyond the beyond to enlightenment.

- Gone, gone, gone all the way over, everyone gone to the other shore, enlightenment, hail!

(...)The Heart-Calming Mantra, also known in Sanskrit as the Prajnaparamita Mantra, is recited to assist in letting go of all attachments, perceptions and ideas so the yogi can go beyond, or to “the other shore,” which represents a state of enlightenment."
